Cate has a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Regis College, where she conducted research in breastfeeding and developed a tool for nurses to reduce the supplementation of healthy babies. Her master’s degree is in Perinatal Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.
Cate has worked as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 1995 with a focus on education. She recently retired from being a Nursing Professor at a local community college, where she helped to prepare the next generation of Lactation Consultants. Cate has extensive experience as a nurse in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery as well as a Lactation Consultant in NICUs. Cate also worked in Maternal Fetal Medicine as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Cate lives on Cape Cod with her husband and has two adult children. She enjoys volunteering at her church as well as playing golf in her leisure time. She is originally from Margate, New Jersey, and has worked off and on for CLS for over 25 years.
Melinda is a registered nurse with over 25 years of experience in maternal-child health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1999. The majority of her nursing career has been in the private hospital sector, where she has worked as a staff nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and in an outpatient newborn assessment clinic.
After the preterm birth of her first daughter at 29 weeks, Melinda developed a deep passion for helping mothers achieve their breastfeeding goals—especially those who are separated from their newborns in the NICU. This experience led her to become an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2010.
As a lactation consultant, Melinda has supported families across a wide range of settings, including labor and delivery, postpartum, pediatrics, the NICU, as well as outpatient and community-based care.
She has been happily married for 27 years, is the proud mother of two adult daughters, and resides in El Paso, Texas.
Jessica’s interest in caring for moms and babies began after the birth of her first child. Six years ago, Jessica started her journey in lactation with an intense desire to help moms and babies reach their breastfeeding goals.
Jessica and her husband have two children, two dogs, and a cat. When she is not working, Jessica is gardening, painting, kayaking, or spending time outdoors.

During that time, she especially enjoyed supporting the breastfeeding mom and in 2007 received her IBCLC certification. She is dedicated to providing current, evidence-based lactation management to support each mother in their personal breastfeeding journey.
When not working, she enjoys chalkboard art and painting. Lynna resides with her husband of 39 years, along with three rescue dogs.
Christina is a Registered Nurse with over 28 years of experience working with mothers, babies, and their families in both Labor and Delivery and the NICU. She furthered her education and became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant over 11 years ago.
As an IBCLC, Christina loves being able to provide lactation education and support to parents. Her passion is helping moms meet their breastfeeding goals, all while providing the opportunity to make informed decisions. She works with moms to develop a personalized breastfeeding journey and feels it is important for moms to feel empowered and to have a positive experience.
Christina, also goes by Christy, has been married for 30 years and has three adult sons. When she is not in the office, you can find her gardening, playing pickleball, and spending time with her family.
