Our Virtual Lactation Consult is a great starting point for personalized, focused support. It includes: 

1. A single 30–45 min telehealth session with our lactation experts. You receive focused, one-on-one support from a skilled lactation consultant during a convenient online session.
2. Get help with latching, soreness, flange fitting, milk supply, and more. We address common challenges like painful latch, low supply, or pump discomfort with practical strategies and gentle guidance.
3. Access care from home with convenient and flexible scheduling. Life with a newborn is busy. We make it easy to get expert help when and where it works best for you.
4. Get insurance coverage for lactation support. Although insurance coverage may vary, we help you determine whether this service is covered by your plan.

2. Guidance from the prenatal period through weaning. You will receive continuous support and education through your entire feeding journey, from preparing for your baby’s arrival to navigating the emotional and physical transitions of weaning.
3. Personalized call schedule and education. Your assigned consultant schedules tailored calls during key stages, including prenatal, pregnancy, postpartum, NICU babies, and return-to-work, to provide timely education, prepare you for what’s ahead, and address your evolving needs.
4. On-call access to our team. Your family will have a direct line of access to our lactation support team, giving you access to expert care. Whether you have an urgent concern or need reassurance between scheduled calls, our team is always ready to provide guidance.

• After requesting your appointment, you’ll receive a secure link to complete a detailed intake form. This gives our lactation consultant a clear understanding of your goals, medical history, and current concerns. We can also help you verify your insurance coverage for our online lactation services at this time.
• Once we receive your intake form, we will schedule your consultation appointment at a time that works best for you. You will receive a link to your private, HIPAA-compliant session via the Webex platform.
• During your one-on-one session, our lactation consultant will focus on your specific breastfeeding goals and challenges, whether latching, milk supply, soreness, pumping, or something unique to your experience. You’ll receive individualized guidance, evidence-based education, and actionable strategies.
• Finally, we will outline clear next steps and supportive resources tailored to your needs, so you can feel confident moving forward.

To get the most from your lactation counseling session, we recommend following these steps:

• Take your time to complete the intake form to ensure accuracy. The more information you provide, the better equipped our consultant will be to understand your unique circumstances and effectively prepare for your session.
• If requested, please prepare and send short video clips (such as feeding or latching) in advance. These clips can help your lactation expert understand your situation more thoroughly during your session.
